The heavy favorites going into the OrlandoLaxOpen for the 12u A division was Snipers, Loggerheads 2031, PVVA Jaws & Stealth Black Ops 2031. Each of these teams has A+ coaching & a history of winning the big tournaments. The Snipers have a loaded 2032 class so they’re going to be looking for redemption at the summer faceoff (Orlando Summer Tournament) after a playoff loss to Stealth Black Ops 2031 “5-4”. The SweetLax Loggerheaders 2031 also looked primed to win it all posting the most goals scored “30” – their offense looked almost unstoppable. A loss to the Snipers “11-5” took away their opportunity to squeeze into the playoffs.
What no one really saw coming was the Tarpons winning it all especially after losing to Stealth Black Ops 2031 on the 1st day “5-3”. The Tarpons would later get their revenge in the finals vs Stealth Black Ops 2031 winning it all “6-5”. The 12A division is loaded with talented teams & strong programs, which makes watching the games very entertaining. The Orlando Lacrosse Open is one of the best tournaments in the state of Florida because of the level of competition.
