Youth Lacrosse in Lake Butler “Windermere” Orlando Florida
Lake Butler, Windermere FL has a youth lacrosse team that practices at R.D. Keene Park. The youth program is great at developing youth players which ranges from 1st grade to 8th. The program is called WOC Outlaws based in Windermere but services the neighboring towns as well (Winter Garden, Lake Buena Vista, Doctor Phillips, Bay Hill, etc.)
The WOC Outlaws have multiple age divisions (1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th grade levels). The 1st-4th graders play 7v7 on a shorter field with slightly different rules. The game for the most part is similar to regular lacrosse but with less rules (no man down or up). This allows the youth players to transition to the full field game into 5-6th with regular lacrosse rules. The WOC Outlaws always focus on player development which is why they typically have a very competitive team year after year.
