Central Florida has plenty of youth lacrosse teams to select from for Fall/Spring seasons. In Florida you have local youth lacrosse teams that play in the Fall & Spring seasons. Many of the more serious lacrosse players decide to join a Summer/Winter team for regional tournaments (Apprentice or LCO are top options). During the Summer/Winter tournament seasons the players end up playing other teams throughout the state of Florida (South, North & West Coast). During the Fall/Spring season they play local clubs which include WOC Outlaws, Winter Park, Swarm, Bulldogs, Stags, Lake Mary Rams, Bats, Etc.
The best option is to choose a program that will help develop young players into future stars. If you live in the Windermere, Winter Garden, Doctor Phillips or Horizon West area the WOC Outlaws are the best option. The Outlaws practice in Windermere, FL @R.D. Keene Park 5:30-7pm Tuesday & Thursday. If you’re in the Orlando, Winter Park area Swarm is a great option. Most of the players that are in the Swarm program transition to Bishop Moore High School program. The other option is Winter Park Youth Lacrosse program, which is the most competitive regardless of age in Central Florida.
