Florida Lacrosse Tournament “Summer Classic” in Plant City
Summer Lacrosse in Florida is almost concluded with “Summer Classic”. Mid June many of the teams have played a couple of times in prior tournaments are looking for redemption! This is one of the last chances for most of the summer league club teams to win a tournament. The Summer Classic is held in Plant City, Florida which is right in between Orlando & Tampa. In this Florida Summer Lacrosse Tournament they have several divisions 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u & High School.
If you’re looking to enter into these Summer Tournaments in Florida check out Apprentice or LCO Lacrosse. Both programs are owned & run by very knowledgable lacrosse players/coaches. Both Apprentice & LCO are based in Central Florida (Orlando) & compete vs some of the best teams in Florida. Southern Florida lacrosse teams typically dominate but other areas are catching up! North Florida has PV Jaws, West florida has Gulf Coast, Mantee Wildcats & Central has LCO, Apprentice for Summer/Winter tournament competition.
The Summer classic is held on both Saturday & Sunday. It promises that all teams will have at least 4 games played (2 per day) with a playoff system in place.
