5th-6th Grade Youth Lacrosse in Central Florida (Orlando)
In Central Florida (Orlando) this is the start of full field lacrosse. 1st-4th graders play on a shortened field 7v7 (on the field 2 attackmen, 2 midfielders, 2 defenders & goalie). Now with 12u (5th-6th graders) you go to 10v10 (3 Attack, 3 midfielders, 3 Defenders & Goalie) & full field lacrosse rules which include man up/down along with substitutions.

There are a handful of programs in the Orlando (Central Florida) area that compete vs one another. The programs that seem to have the best year to year success within the Central Florida club (Fall/Spring) seasons are Winter Park, Swarm & WOC Outlaws. Winter Park has the largest of the programs, their 10u program has 3 full size teams to make practices ultra competitive! Swarm funnels their talent to a very competitive Bishop Moore High School. The Outlaws program pulls kids from the Windermere, Winter Garden & Horizon area so many of the players get split up in high school.
